uhhhgh staying on task....

I'm not having a problem with being productive but I'm having a problem with etting my arthistory painting completed. I should have finished it tonight but it bores me....so i ended up making golden curry, and then later star shaped corn muffins and doing house chores. it's coming along but.......I did however finish my weaving sampler today. I'll wake up tomorrow real early and just hope that the time crunch will engage me for a period long enough to get that done because... I have a fibers final to bang out. man I'm gonna be one exhausted sheila come the end of the week.

Well guess that's that then. tomorrow, wake up - bust out Caracella, head to class, use lunch break to pick up any needed supplies and then it's silk steaming and

extreme awesome fibers project creating from then on out. definitely don't want my critique and final exam for art hist. on same day. Na, that's a serious no go.

If you couldn't tell I'm a bit under-slept and over- caffeinated.

it's only tuesday.

That's what keeps rolling through my head, "it's only tuesday - and i'm this exhausted". Maybe it's just a switch that flicks when I get home, my body just drains of energy. I used to get this tired at 3am, the "o jeez. if i stay up any longer i'll be on fumes and a bit off my gourd the continuing hours I'm up". Now it hits like 9 pm and I start gettin that "well mayb I wanna get in bed soon" urge. I fight it, as I always have (which in my youth caused me to develop a minor insomnia) but I can't fight past 11pm. Still so much to do though, guess I need to up the caffeine intake.

Anyways brainstormed and mostly typed out my arthist proposal today - post sketches tomorrow, but do have photos of my burgeoning weaving sampler (which looks too pretty. The colours were supposed to come out so the combo was worth gagging over but through some miss application I may fail for their pleasing harmony) and the beginning of my silk painting.

Well now I've been doing silk painting in fibers, forgot to photograph my experiments but I do have the design for my project (silk paint a scarf) that I'll be completing tomorrow and have set up an impromtu studio in the dining area of the apartment and in general been movin furniture about.

The roomies don't care course because they've moved out and aren't even awares.

Just realised I'm out of red wine. major dilema. I think I'm going to try making satay chicken with a microwave steamer. God, It just sounds like it's not going to work....oh well!

Also keep an eye out, I'm going to open a new portfolio page on my website for misc. projects - like my 3-d lotus pods one that I was quite into.

Taking fibers intro during JMU's summer session. So far have sewed a pretty sweet shirt and have died some fiber to weave.

My other next project is oing to be a piece that is an alternate option for a final essay for art history (prehist - ren), I thinking of doing a piece inspired by Gothic Iconography.
